Nutritional Nugget: Kelp Noodles

Kelp noodles are low in carbohydrates and calories but they are considered a great source of iodine, iron, and calcuim. Iodine is a trace mineral and it has sometimes been said it can improve thyroid health, promote weight loss, and reduce inflammation.
Clear kelp noodles have little or no taste so it pairs very well with your favorite sauces. To prepare, simply rinse the kelp noodles before using. If you may even soak them in water with a little lemon juice to make them softer. We offer kelp noodles in an almond butter thai ginger sauce as a side made fresh.
